Louis Vuitton "L'ame du voyage" Luggage 2010 Catalog
I just got the Louis Vuitton 2010 luggage catalog in the mail. Out of all the catalogs I receive from various retailers, this one is my favorite. Although I'm not an experienced photographer, I've always loved photography. I'm especially a fan of modern images with vintage inspiration. I wish I was jet-setting around the world. Don't you wish you were too?

Don't agonize, organize.
Organize is something I definitely need to do. Especially as I stare at the forming piles of art supplies, office supplies, papers, and mail that is a jumbled mess in front of me on a bookshelf. You don't even want to see what I have in the garage.
I need to just do it and get it over with. Check out these baskets I found. I could probably use some of these myself.

Welcome to JFINDS.com!!
As some of you may know, I have been working on this new project for quite some time now. It's still a work in progress, but my website has finally launched! Check it out at www.JFINDS.com!
My online shop will have home accents, some vintage but mostly new or newly discovered. However, quantities are limited, especially since some pieces are one of a kind.
I'm not stopping there, so stay tuned...

What TYPE Are You??
Check out this link: What type are you? A simple four question interactive quiz that determines your type font based on your personality.
My results were: Emotional, Understated, Progressive, and Relaxed. Therefore, my type that suits me is Dot Matrix. Live in and live for the now, now, now. Not bothered by the why, why, why. Not concerned with the how, how, how.

178 Square Feet of Bliss
Zach Motl, a junior designer at Robert Couturier & Associates in New York, has made the most of his 178 square foot studio apartment in Brooklyn. One hundred and seventy eight square feet! Just the thought of it sounds claustrophobic. Despite the size, his arrangement of furniture and clever storage space makes his apartment seem so much larger. What I admire most are his design elements. I like how he doesn't design in a cookie cutter way. He incorporated items he collected over time. It's modern, quirky, but simple.

Fortune Cookie
I know it's late, but for some reason my brother and I wanted some Chinese food. I guess we weren't satisfied with our dinner so we decided to indulge in something that wouldn't really be considered a healthy choice. We had to hurry, since the nearest Panda Express closed at 10:30 PM. We both opted for steamed rice and double entrees of orange chicken...yumm. There's this overwhelming satisfaction you get from eating Chinese food or any comfort food for the matter. Although the after effects of being overly full and a feeling of being bloated, is definitely something I could do without.
With Chinese food, no matter how full are, you still have to eat the fortune cookie. It's like a tradition. It's something you have to do. I'm not sure how this fortune cookie thing came about (maybe I'll do some research on it). I have a process I go through: Step 1 - Break the cookie in half and separate it. The fortune should still be stuck in one half of the cookie. Step 2 - Eat the empty half of the cookie. Step 3 - Pull the fortune out of the other half and read it. Step 4 - Eat the remaining half of the cookie so your good fortune will come true.
I opened my fortune cookie up and did my usual routine. This is what my fortune said, "YOU WILL SOON FIND NEW ADVENTURE IN LIFE."
Hhmmm. It's strange how a little piece of paper in a cookie can speak the truth. I actually believe this. Or maybe I want to believe this. Maybe I'm about to partake on an adventure. Maybe I'm at the beginning of one right now, this minute.
Oh well, whatever the adventure is......I'm ready.
